Growing plants is very easy.

All you need are:

✓ Some seeds

✓ Some soil

✓ Some water

✓ A spade or trowel

✓ A flower pot (if you are not planting your seeds into the ground)

If you are planting your seeds into a garden you will also need

✓ Permission from a grown up

Growing your plant

• Use your finger or a trowel to make some small holes in the soil
• Carefully put one or two seeds in the holes
• Gently cover the seeds over with the soil
• Carefully water the pot.

Make sure that the soil is always damp. It will help if you put the pot somewhere light, but not in direct sunlight. Very soon you will begin to see green leaves appear.
