Unfortunately in response to the threat of Coronavirus, with great regret Oscott have taken the decision to cancel this series of talks.
The God who Speaks
The Passion in St Mathew’s Gospel
A series of four Lent Talks by Fr. Andrew Robinson, LSS
Venue: Oscott College, Thursday evenings 8pm.
Here is another event in the year of “The God who Speaks” that is being promoted in collaboration with the Bible Society. These talks are open to anyone who is interested
Fr Andrew Robinson, a former solicitor, was ordained priest in 2003. Immediately after ordination he undertook studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, obtaining a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture in 2008. Since then he has served as a hospital chaplain, assistant priest, and parish priest. In 2016, Andrew was appointed to be a full-time resident staff member at St Mary’s College Oscott, where he is Tutor in New Testament Studies. Fr Andrew’s passion is to use his academic formation as a springboard to bring the scriptures alive, and to tease out the challenges and consolations that the word of God constantly offers to all ‘who have ears to hear’.
